Celebrate Life Vendors Needed
We're looking to build a long-term relationship with vendors who provide the following services in the Green Bay - Fox Cities area:
  • Caterer(s):
to provide traditional servings at banquet functions as well as outdoor events. Must have large mobile cooker, serve Wisconsin meats and corn, and capable of handling a pig roast twice a year.

  • Meat processor(s)
to provide traditional Wisconsin meats at wholesale for our events.

  • Motor Coach transportation:
originating from points across Wisconsin with no more than four stops along the way. Most will be day trips to Green Bay or Appleton. May be weekend get-a-ways on occasion.
NOTE: with the rising cost of fuel, we feel coach transportation will increase participation at our events.

  • Printer:
for brochures, pamphlets, and programs. Must have in-house graphic design. Can also be a home business in design with a dedicated vendor used for printing services.

  • Radio Broadcasting:
to provide upwards of 120 spots/month per station for a community calendar service and coop advertising. Our demographic is wide, therefore we will be seeking to reach various markets on four Wisconsin stations. There will be four different tapes to run per month. Tapings will be done by one production studio and used in our campaigns on all networks, understanding some modifications may be needed.

  • Recognition & Give-away's:
to provide trophies and plaques as well as fun stuff like mugs and various promotional products to pass out at major events and shows.

Celebrate Life Big Items to Purchase or Lease
Our first priority is to find a place to call home by the end of May 2006. We're looking for a commercial building on the west side of the Fox River in Green Bay or De Pere with easy access from HWY 41. This building must meet codes to service vehicles and provide space for offices, a common area to hold up to 150 people (on a separate HVAC system from the shop area), a conference room, and a computer work station with 4 PC's.

We're also in need of these items:
  • 24' Van Body Truck:
to help people move and to transport things to our events. This is a not-for-hire vehicle. Non-CDL. With a lift gate and loading ramp.

  • 1 ton Service Truck:
to get our tools of the trade where they are needed for community service projects.(i.e. assist in the construction of our parks and maintenance of our public areas with little to no funding, requiring volunteers). Ideally, this vehicle will have an enclosed service body.

  • Boats:
We're looking to acquire 2 boats for our [Outdoor Programs]. See descriptions below.

    Fishing Boat:
Ideally, this craft will be 19-20' with walk-around controls, railing around the open bow, wide area to step on when boarding, live-well, Marine radio, GPS, powered by at least 90 HP

    Pontoon or Deck Boat:
The purpose of this craft is to take people fishing who have a handicap. Our fabricators will make modifications in added floatation, wheel chair ramp with loading stability, and floor anchors to firmly secure wheel chairs. Ideally, this craft will be 20-22' powered by at least 50 HP, and have a canopy. This craft will never leave port without being accompanied by another boat and an onboard volunteer certified in CPR and First Aid. This craft must be equipped with a marine radio.

  • Computers:
We're looking for 3 desktop PC's and 2 laptop's for public training purposes. We will be setting up a workstation to teach, provide Internet access for research, and for general use to make resumes and other documents.

  • There are many smaller items which will be posted early this summer.

If you have one of these items or know where we can negotiate a great deal, please call Scott LaMay @(920) 676-7243.
