Milwaukeee River Paddle
Thiensville Village Park 250 Elm St Thiensville |
We can all put in at the dam in Thiensville on the Milwaukee River. Then paddle upstream toward Grafton, and mosey our way back. Its a nice paddle. Boat traffic should be down since it will be early in the season. It would be approximately 7.5/8 miles round trip, if we paddled up as far as the Highland Road bridge. Thiensville is about 1 hr 15 mins from Oshkosh. There are a few nice restaurants in town that we can stop at afterwards. Remington's River Inn has great food, and Fiddlehead's has good coffee. |
