An Elegant Evening of Dancing and Dinner For Singles and Couples
|
The Historic Kewaunee Inn 122 Ellis St Kewaunee WI |
Our dances are held on the fourth Saturday of each month starting at 7:00 pm in our elegant historic landmark arts-and-crafts hotel, just a block from Lake Michigan in charming Kewaunee WI. Often dance instructors are present beforehand and during the dance for a lessons and refresher pointers.
There is no charge for admission to our dances, held in our beautiful dining room, complete with a restored 98 year old strip maple dance floor. This month our new manager, Dave Kirchhan, debuts a special dinner menu for each dance, generally tapas style "small plate" offerings which satisfy as appetizers or can be combined as a dinner. These romantic candlelit dinners are $12 including two drinks from the bar (or $20 per couple).
We are twenty miles East of Green bay right on Lake Michigan in the charming fishing village of Kewaunee; our hotel is Northeast Wisconsin's only "Grand Hotel", built in 1913 in the American "Arts-and-Crafts" style newly emerging at the time, and led by Wisconsin's Frank Lloyd Wright (his influence can be see in the stained glass work in the back bar area; the most handsome bar room in NE Wisconsin).
We offer live music and a delicious Fish Fry featuring fresh Lake Perch each Friday and offer the region's most elegant Sunday Brunch each Sunday. Dancers are always welcome to enjoy discounted room packages as well, including in our in-room Jacuzzi and lake-view rooms.
