Community is Giving Life & Hope for....
Years have past, many things have changed. One thing remains unchanged. Community is still built on and around a purpose, a need, a desire. Something that draws us to it, to be a part of it. For protection, serenity, advancement, its majesty, its riches, and for the infinite possibilities and opportunities it represents in view of it all when we take it in. In today's culture, we are pretty much free, by choice, to do what we want when we want. We are no longer confined against our will within the walls of a castle or fortress, though it may seem like it at times. Mountains are passable, as are oceans and the vast expanse of space. Little stands in our way. Except perhaps, by our limitations and isolation. We can travel the world in hours. But, there is, no place like home and a community in which to belong. Giving Life—Life Giving!

...something—better.

We must depend and rely on others, and the community, to provide for us in some unique way. Not for a hand-out, but for a helping-hand. At a time of great tragedy or when in celebration—In Unity, together, for a cause.

A Sense of Community
The one thing people want most in life is to feel a sense of connection with others and with their surroundings. Simply hearing their name mentioned, when at church, in the supermarket, at school, at the club, has a profound effect on a person and how they feel. When someone makes eye contact, giving their undivided attention while talking, helps connect with them on a deeper level. They care enough that nothing will distract them. Their focus is on you. Whether in the community or our home, we need to connect more with the people in our life.
So, how can we do that?

Listen to your children or partner more when they talk to you instead of allowing your mind to wander and even going about your work, not giving your full attention to them. Don't stop, drop, and roll—Stop, listen, and truly interact with them.

Smile more and show your love and affection.

Be friendlier to the people you meet in the course of going about your day.

Make eye contact with people who are waiting on you in restaurants or stores.

Stop the craziness of your life to enjoy it more of the time.

If you do, the result is, life itself and your relationships will be richer, happier and have far greater meaning.

Thank you for being patient
Our goal is to provide you something special from Wisconsin!
