| "Dance Against Violence" |
The non profit nIc foundation will sponsor the 4th annual "Dance Against Violence" evening charity event on Friday, October 10th at the Wave Bar and Ballroom in Appleton. Doors open at 6:30 pm with a free "swing dance lesson" by the Jumpcats at 7 pm. Boogie and the Yoz-Yoz provide the music from 8 till midnight. There will be our awesome raffle packages; a silent auction; shopping at the nIc store; games; art gallery walk; and a table of free resources about stopping the violence in our communities.
Cost to attend the dance is a $5 donation at the door.
Proceeds support the nIc foundation's violence prevention educational initiatives in northeastern Wisconsin.
