Friday Night Single Adult Bible Study and Fellowship
Single Adults 40 & over
Overview:
Our group offers a time for singles to gather for worship, Bible study, and fellowship. We start with 20 minutes of worship before beginning the study. We break into small groups for a time of prayer. Snacks are usually available before and after our study time. Our group will usually go out after study for coffee and continue the fellowship time. Single Men's Bible Study – No More Christian Nice Guy
Overview:
Based on the book and study of the same name by Paul Coughlin. Required materials are the book and study guide. Tentative schedule is arrive, get coffee, etc. at 6:45 PM and then study starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 8:30 PM. SOLUTIONS
The talk for Monday, January 24th is called, "Piece of My Heart"
Overview:
SOLUTIONS is a growth group provided by the Lay Counseling Ministry of Elmbrook Church that is centered around the authors and speakers Henry Cloud and John Townsend. If you would like to grow emotionally, relationally, functionally and spiritually then please join this friendly open group. This group is open to everyone regardless of status: singles, married, separated, divorced, and widowed. There is both DVD viewing and small group discussion included in this gathering. |

Let's Help Rebuild Nashville, TN! |
|
Spring 2011 teams to help rebuild Nashville, TN are forming now! Once in Nashville these teams will be under the direction of Samaritan's Purse. Personal cars will be needed for the ten hour trip to Nashville as well as getting to job sites. The teams will be staying at Bethel World Outreach in Brentwood TN in modular units with bunk beds and shower trailers. Once in Nashville, all meals are provided by Samaritan's Purse. Teams will depart Elmbrook Church early Sunday morning and return by the following Saturday night.
The cost is $125 per person which includes gas, a donation to SP, one team meal while on the way down or back, as well as a team photograph. Proof of insurance (both health and auto for those driving) is required, as well as a valid driver's license for those over 18 years of age.
Short Term Trip (SEND) team training helpful, but not required for SP trips.

April Mission Trip to Guatemala April 23-30th |
|
A team will be going to Patzun, Guatemala which is located in the central highlands of Guatemala. The primary focus of this trip is to help remove accumulated rubble from the church work site in preparation for the eventual pouring of the floor slab. That team will also be installing cooking stoves for families in the community. The trip is April 23-30th. The cost of the trip is $1250 which includes all expenses (flight, transportation, food, lodging and building supplies). If you are interested please contact Fred at 262-853-9863. |
